Nuclear weapons states are terrorist states and these weapons are indefensible

August 6, 2019 – Hiroshima Day

Thought you might like to see a discussion I participated in at the invitation of PressTV in – non-nuclear – Iran.

And, like me, you may have wondered why the Western world’s mainstream media largely ignore Hiroshima and Nagasaki Day?

Well, I have a nasty mind: Because someone has let it be understood that there is no reason to highlight such a controversial issue – all NATO countries basing themselves on these – terrorist – weapons. Whether they themselves have them. host them or are non-nuclear weapons states.

And merely mentioning these weapons could be seen as a support of the worldwide work being done right now to get countries to sign the United Nations Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons (which, of course, no nuclear state has accepted).

On The Transnational there are lots of materials about the nuclear age, nuclearism and the weapons themselves. Here the first 25.

There is a short introductory test followed by a video of that discussion. It summarizes in a very short form how I see the nuclear issues and what I believe are fundamentally important arguments in favour of the total and complete abolition – ASAP – of nuclear weapons.

Interesting too?  Of course, Nordstream was blown up by the US and NATO allies: A US economic war on submissive allies.
