The West’s Dominance is over! Jan Oberg on Gaza, Ukraine and Swedens NATO Shift
I am very pleased with Thomas Karat’s very well-conducted interview and the perspectives he chose to focus on with me. I recommend his fine YouTube Channel warmly.
I hope you will like it and share it – and, of course, leave your comments below.
You may also go to the interview on YouTube and see the wonderful comments. The interview happened before the Western-supported al-Nusra terrorist regime-change in Syria, but that is, of course, on par with the two conflict areas mentioned in the video title.
You’ll find many more videos on TFF’s Video Library on Substack.
Indeed, a very interesting interview.
I agree,
– that a well functioning UN would be a good idea ( UNfortunately its not today )
– that a fundamental blind spot in the christian tradition is one of the most important
rootcourses to the global unbalance of today
– that collaboration in a open world of diversity – multipolar, not unipolar
– that civilization – instead of ideology driven “projects” – is a good idea, like Gandhi once expressed it
– and one could even argue, that anarchy would be better, than the present situation
While så many drown in the complexity of events worldwide, there is still a simple solution:
To navigate with a simple and fundamental contact with life, which everybody is granted as a birth-present. To be sovereign, like all living creatures, and to be respectfull to all other in a similar manner. While humans often act irrationally, out of fear – still birds and other creatures are rational and brave. They even suffer just as much as other living creatures. If they can stand up, and even fly, why shouldn´t we – we, the people, are not less than them. If they can be free, why shouldn´t we ? If they can live without central powers and control, then we can too. If they live under the sun, as the ultimate source of life to this planet, then we can too. If something threatens life, in one shape or another, it can be fixed. Despite many mad visions in sick minds through history, life has allways overcome. Manmade problems can be fixed by man. Excess mortality, and unnecessary suffering, can be avoided.
What cannot be fixed is planetary climate, which is part of the sun’s sphere. A problem, cannot be fixed by the same way of thinking, which created the problem. The last sentence is behind many of the problems today.
Even by doing nothing ( ie stop the many expensive and destructive actions, like unnecessary conflicts, that often lead to war ) we would be better of. Isn’ t it irrational to think how much life is daily sacrificed, to do hard work … ending up as nightly bombing of innocent civilian people far, far away – how many sacrifice their personal life and work, blindly believing the treacherous words of leaders, just to face how their good intentions end up in actions against life itself ?
Hjerteligt tak, kære Omar.
