Fogh Rasmussen again advocates war – this time between NATO and Russia

Anders Fogh Rasmussen – a failed adviser to former Ukrainian president Poroshenko and now president Zelensky – never stops making reckless, ill-considered statements that make the world more dangerous.

A non-convicted war criminal – as Denmark’s PM masterminding its occupation of Iraq 2003-2007 and as NATO S-G pulverising Libya outside all mandates – Western media continue to cover his bizarre, disturbing militarist nonsense.

Just read The Guardian’s article, “Nato members may send troops to Ukraine, warns former alliance chief” where he is quoted as saying, “A group of Nato countries may be willing to put troops on the ground in Ukraine if member states including the US do not provide tangible security guarantees to Kyiv at the alliance’s summit in Vilnius, the former Nato secretary general Anders Rasmussen has said.”

May be willing? Which countries, Mr Rasmussen? Do you mean Denmark, the PM of which is a leading candidate as the next NATO S-G? What is your source, Mr Rasmussen?

NATO country troops on the ground in Ukraine? We are extremely close to a war between NATO and Russia – thanks to NATO’s reckless expansion to also include, against all common sense, Ukraine. And now, to cover up that blunder, another blunder is needed – he surely does not understand just how perversely dangerous his words are.

This report tells you everything about the intellectual level of Western mainstream media: It’s all about who you are; content doesn’t matter. Note, please, that The Guardian does not question his reasoning or ask him questions.
