I have been privileged to met similar decent people over the years in about 20 UN missions. That’s one reason I am a staunch believer in the UN, its idea and ideals and its best people – which are not in New York but out there where it matters.
I am waiting for a Palestinian, an Israeli and a NATO leader to show emotions in just half the same way.
Or are they continuing this violent madness because their hearts are made of stones?
